As the air turns crisp and leaves start to fall, Glasgow is buzzing with community events that bring neighbors together for fun, learning, and a little Halloween spirit. Here’s what’s happening around town this week:

 
“Homemaking on the Kentucky Frontier”

📅 October 23 | 6:00 PM
📍 South Central Kentucky Cultural Center
Join author and Kentucky Humanities Speaker Eddie Price for a captivating presentation on life and homemaking on the Kentucky frontier. This special event offers a glimpse into Kentucky’s early days and the resourcefulness of its people.

 

Trunk or Treat Cruise-In

📅 October 25 | All Day
📍 Beaver Creek Park
Bring the whole family for a spooktacular day of fun at Beaver Creek Park! The event features a Cruise-In, Trunk or Treat, costume contest, and a screening of Beetlejuice.
Businesses interested in handing out candy can call 270-651-3811 to participate.

 

Candy Palooza Trunk or Treat

📍 Glenview Christian Church
Get your costumes ready! Families are invited to enjoy this community-favorite event with photo opportunities, inflatables, barrel train rides, and plenty of candy for all ages.

 

Hive in Harmony: Abbey & Wade

📅 October 25 | 6:00–8:00 PM
📍 The Hive Coffee & Bakehouse
Spend your Saturday evening surrounded by good music and great company. Enjoy live tunes from Wade & Abbey, a soulful duo perfect for cozy fall nights. A special menu and handcrafted drinks will also be available during the event.
