As part of our ongoing commitment to keeping Glasgow clean and beautiful, the City of Glasgow Public Works Department will once again offer free leaf collection this fall.

Leaf collection will begin Monday, November 3rd and continue through Friday, December 26, 2025. Crews will work across the city in designated zones throughout the season. VIEW THE SCHEDULE  DETIALS HERE

How It Works

  – Residents should rake leaves to the edge of the street — not into the street — to keep storm drains clear and prevent traffic hazards.

  – Avoid placing leaves near mailboxes, fire hydrants, or utility poles.

  – Leaf piles should contain leaves only — no sticks, limbs, or trash.

  – There’s no need to bag leaves — our crews will collect them using specialized vacuum equipment.
