The Glasgow City Council serves as the legislative body for the City of Glasgow, working to represent the interests of our citizens and shape the future of our community through thoughtful decision-making and transparent governance.
City Council members are elected by the people of Glasgow and are responsible for enacting ordinances, approving budgets, setting policy, and working collaboratively to support the city’s vision for progress, safety, and quality of life.
City Council meetings are held on the second and fourth Monday of each month at 6:00 PM in the Council Chambers at Glasgow City Hall. These meetings are open to the public, and citizens are encouraged to attend or view recordings to stay informed and engaged in city government.
